Recognizing your feelings and those of others allows us to manage our emotions and our reactions to these more effectively. For many, conflict triggers strong responses of discomfort. These emotions may be viewed as eustress (good stress) or distress (discomfort). Learning to recognize and to accept your emotions is the first step towards managing them.
