I am a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute
in Masters degree in Vocational Education, Automotive Technology. I have over thirty years of hands on experience in the automotive field as A Technician, Lead tech, Service Mgr., and Service and Parts Representative for DaimlerChrysler Corp. This is my Fourth year teaching at the Manassas Campus and my sixth year teaching Automotive overall. First engines and transmissions, now most of a new automobile is electronically controlled. This list includes the A/C, P/S, Brakes, Throttle, Suspension, Dash, Seats, Mirrors, Headlights, and even the tire pressures are monitored electronically for you. With new alternative fuels and Hybrid cars, the modern automobile is not something the owner can maintain himself anymore. Trained Technicians are in demand everywhere.
