 | New! Project #2 Instructions
have arrived! |
 | Chapter 32. This is on the CD
that comes with your book. You need to have Acrobat Reader installed to view
it. |
 | You can use Notepad for this class but I highly recommend NoteTab
Light, a free but very useful plain text editor. |
 | Mozilla 1.x Browser
Download Page. Mozilla is the open source browser that forms the
foundation of Netscape 6.0 and various other browsers. You will need test
your work in this browser and IE. You may also test in Netscape 6.x because
it is essentially the same thing. |
 | Internet Explorer
Download Page (select Internet Explorer from list of downloads). If you
install IE 6 it is also important to install the Java
Virtual Machine (JVM) too. For marketing reasons (and some say illegal
anticompetitive reasons) Microsoft did not include the latest JVM in this
version of the browser. |
 | W3Schools in an excellent
tutorial web site that you can use to supplement your knowledge of the
topics covered here. Note that there are specific sections for HTML,
XHTML, Cascading
Style Sheets, Javascript,
Dynamic HTML and Active
Server Pages as well as other web technologies. Previous students have raved about
this site. |
