The L in the KWL Chart is a place to record various ideas you learn while reading about a topic. Your brain needs the chance to recall and restate ideas which an author presents in order to fully absorb ideas. By giving your brain the chance to reiterate new ideas, new concepts and new thoughts pertaining to a topic, you are allowing your brain to process, evaluate and recall information, making it easier to comprehend and remember those ideas you read about. |
