What is Christianity
Christianity is a religion based on the birth, life, teachings, death and resurrection of a first century Jew known by the name of Jesus. Some 2000 years later, with over two billion followers throughout the world, Christianity is both the largest single religion in the world as well as the most diverse. But, in one way or another, we can say that, despite some great differences, what makes them all Christian is their reliance on the New Testament and looking to the life and teachings of Jesus as a model to live by and his death and resurrection as the Christ as their salvation from their sin.
