Course description and/or objective: Introduces students to general concepts of computer information systems. Presents terminology and effects of computers on daily life. Discusses available hardware and software as well as their applications. Exposes students to the system development process and computer number systems. Lecture 3 hours per week.

Attendance

Fire/Emergency Evacuation
Procedures:
You will find a framed emergency evacuation plan on one of the walls in each of
the classrooms. This describes the
procedures that should be followed, and it diagrams both the primary and
secondary routes that are to be used, in case you need to evacuate the building. Students will be reminded of these
procedures at the outset of the first class.
