Able to sustain understanding over longer stretches of connected discourse, on a number of topics pertaining to different times and places. Speaking

Able to express time and tense. LESSON PLAN We will use the Blackboard Course Management System in this class. All students will have user names and passwords. We will use the Discussion forums and testing features of Blackboard. We will do periodic oral presentations done with language partners, alone or in groups. We will do writing assignments, described in "Semester Assignments". French will be the language of the classroom and in some online assignments.
