Listen to French radio for ten minutes using Radio France International.Then e-mail your impressions of what you heard, in English or French. Ten 30-minute visits to the Language Center (AA 160) will earn you ten quiz points. Learn something about Québec at this site and write a short paragraph about the role of the French language in Canadian history and society. Server Bochum Visit Madame Franklin's web site on French writers and French writing, Lettres. Go to Primary Texts and write a report on the various resources you can find on this site. Comment on an authentic literary text that you find in your research, a poem, novel extract or other work. Join MERLOT at (www.merlot.org) and search for web sites in French language or literature. Once you find something useful to your students, post a Membber comment on MERLOT, explaining why it is useful to students of French. Faites la Chasse au Trésor à la page Album Parisien. Go to Radio France International and listen to the weekly news en français facile. Once on this page, click on rfi langue française, apprendre. You will need Real Audio to hear the news. There is also a written transcript for you there.
