Linda's Web Page... a work always in process

	Reflections Losing a close friend, unexpectantly, is traumatic. I just found out the hard way. For more than thirty years my friend was there. Always there, in the background. Close as a telephone. Never intrusive. Family. He left without a word. To me, to his family, to his other friends. He didn’t choose to leave, but gone he is. Never again will I see that smile; hear those friendly insults. Never again will he bring a new dog in just to meet me and later regale me with tales of his dogs, his kids, his grand kids. A light has been extinguished. There is an emptiness; a little less warmth in this world.
