In Mr. Mom (1983), Jack (Michael Keaton) loses his job and his wife Caroline (Terry Garr). It's a fun comedy about role reversal, but also illustrates the pain of unemployment and the problem of "retraining" - in Jack's case, retraining as a homemaker. After all the other depressing movies in this course, it might be time to give your students a break with some comedy.
