MDL 193: ONLINE EDUCATION FOR THE PRACTICING PHLEBOTOMIST

This course is geared toward the Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Nurse, or Lab Assistant who has performed phlebotomy for 1 or more years but has not yet obtained Phlebotomy certification.  It is a 3 credit, 16 week course, all online with the exception of 3 pre-arranged proctored exams.  This course will use a combination of Blackboard and Centra Learning systems.  Live faculty will lecture and monitor your progress.  Cable modem or DSL modem is preferred, however, audio lectures are available.

 

    * Provides theory and the knowledge base needed for national certification

    * All instruction is online, materials available 24 hours a day

    * College Credit is earned

    *Use your skills and experience with our classroom instruction to successfully pass national board certification exam

    * Course is completed in one semester
