Gather at 9 a.m. in the plaza in front of the main Dawes Avenue entrance to the Bisdorf Building, Alexandria Campus. If the weather is inclement, move to the lobby inside the second set of doors. |

Notepad and pen, or digital recorder; water or other beverage; bag lunch; hat; rain gear; shoes suitable for walking on slippery or rocky terrain; and clothing appropriate for the expected temperatures at Owings Mills, MD. If you are susceptible to poison ivy, be sure to wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. |

The field trip is an open-air class. It involves moderately strenuous exercise and requires attention to a spoken commentary. Only registered students may attend. Do not bring pets, children or other companions. |

if you do not attend the field trip

Before midnight of the day of the trip, use NovaConnect to drop the course. If you are absent from the field trip and do not drop yourself by the end of SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20, your course grade will be an "F". |
