Individuals studying Chinese Civilization will have an opportunity to learn about some aspect of Chinese culture.  Pick a topic,  find a book on the topic, go to a website, and during the entire process  record your findings.  On some topics, you will be able to interview a person from China.  There are many videos that deal with cultural topics.  Record all of your finding so that it will be possible to produce a formal paper and an oral presentation.
The cultural project involves how the Chinese  live, the things they like to do, and their traditional customs. There are many cultural topics that one can undertake
for a presentation such as weddings, funeral practices, religious beliefs, methods of cooking, films, martial arts, the theatre, the writing of poetry, calligraphy, the tea ceremony,--to mention only a few possibilities.
