Individuals studying Middle East Civilizations will have an opportunity to learn about some aspect of their culture.  Pick a topic,  find a book on the topic, go to a website, and during the entire process  record your findings.  On some topics, you will be able to interview a person from a Middle East country.   There are many videos that deal with cultural topics.  Record all of your finding so that it will be possible to produce a formal paper or an oral presentation.
The cultural project involves how the Middle Eastern people  live, the things they like to do, and their traditional customs. There are

many cultural topics that one can undertake for a presentation such as weddings, funeral practices, religious practices,  methods of cooking, films,  the writing of poetry,  novels,  calligraphy, making of coffee, clothing--to mention only a few possibilities.
