Items While reading Chapters 7-8 of your textbook, watch for the following items. When you find the item in Chapter 7-8, identify the object or person. Some items are more important than others. On your exam, you will need to identify and discuss the importance of the most important individuals or items. | The following essay questions should be guides for your reading of Chapters 7-8. The topics may suggest an idea for a research paper that would increase your knowledge of the topic. The following essay questions will be included on the First Exam. You will write two essays on the first exam. You will choose your exam essays. | |
| 1. What started the Hundred Years' War. What were the underlying causes of the conflict? What advantages did each side have? Why were the French finally able to remove the English presence in France almost entirely? | |
