While reading Chapter 4 of your textbook, watch for the following items.  When you find the item in Chapter 4, identify the object or person.  Some items are more important than others.  On your exam, you will need to identify and discuss the importance of the most important individuals or items.

Topics for Study

The following essay questions should be guides for your reading of Chapter 4.  The topics may suggest an idea for a research paper that would  increase your knowledge of the topic. The following essay questions will be included on the First Exam.  You will write two essays on the first exam.  You will choose your exam essays.  
1.  Discuss the impact of Norman feudalism on England.

2.  Discuss the social, political, economic, and legal impact of Norman rule on Saxon society.  What changes were made in the government?
