Topics for Study
The following essay questions should be guides for your reading of Chapters 24-25-26. The following essay questions will be included on the Third Exam.  You will write two essays on the third  exam.  You will choose your exam essays. 
1.  What was the "Victorian Compromise?"
2.  Why is Britain not a Republic?
3. What is the role of Methodism in English and American culture?
4.  What were the "landmarks" enacted by the British Parliament, 1832-1911, and how did each affect British society?
5.  Explain the essentials of the "Irish Problem" in the 19th century and note how the British government treated the question.
