Topics for Study
The following essay
questions should be guides for your reading of Chapters 22-23. The
following essay questions will be included on the Third Exam. You
will write two essays on the third exam. You will choose
your exam essays.
1. What social,
political, and economic conditions prevailed in Great Britain before
1832? How do you account for them?
2. What forces produced the Great Reform Bill of 1832 and what
were the immediate long range political and constitutional implications
of this act?
3. Note the similarities and differences between "Liberals" and
"Conservatives" in Great Britain and explain the major
contributions of each during the 19th century. |
