Topics for Study
The following essay questions should be guides for your reading of Chapters 16-17.   The following essay questions will be included on the Second Exam.  You will write two essays on the second exam.  You will choose your exam essays. 
1.  Discuss the eighteenth century governmental reforms in England.  Do ;you think that these reforms had any effect on the American colonies?
2.  Examine the reasons that England became involved in the American frontier struggle for control of the Ohio Valley and Canada.
3.  Trace the events that led up to 1745 confrontation with Bonnie Prince Charlie.and the Scots. What were the results for Scotland?  For England?
4.  Discuss the evolution of political parties in England during the eighteenth century.
