The following two essay
question should be guides for your reading of Chapter 1. The topics
may suggest and idea for a research paper to increase your knowledge of
the topic. Both of the following essay questions will be included on
the First Exam. |

Describe the evolution of Prehistoric Neolithic Civilization in
England. What were their accomplishments? Discuss what you
consider to be their most amazing achievement? Why did they lose
their battle with the Roman Empire. How did the Roman invasion alter
the culture of the Neolithic peoples? |

How much do we know about British civilization prior to the invasion of
the Romans? The native population? The Celtic population? |
