Studies have shown that students produce better papers when help is provided at the time they are working on a project. A number of colleges have had success with including librarians in course sites. We can provide the following in your Blackboard site:
- Animations of how to use relevant databases
- Resource lists
- Discussion forum for students to ask questions as they do their research
We can create multimedia displays of the best available resources
complete with instructions on the most effective ways to use these
resources to find information. These resources are perfect for the busy class.
The online modules are available for the students whenever they need them,
taking some of the time-consuming frustrations out of academic research.
For a History 211 class, we produced videos and embedded them in the
assignment which was placed on Blackboard.

If your students are required to do a multimedia presentation,
you can make arrangements for them to use our new
room
with hardware and software needed for creating multimedia projects.
We will provide group and individual instruction as well as instructional videos.
