Class Description:

                Learn advanced features of Oracle SQL and PLSQL.  Topics covered in class include advanced SQL statements and complex PLSQL.  Flashback, outer join and inner join, rollup, cube,  triggers,  case, statements,  regular expression,  external tables,  metadata statements will be discussed and consolidated with practical examples.  Oracle PLSQL functions, procedures, DBMS_OUTPUT package, UTF file utility,  Error handling will be also discussed.

 

Student Assessment:

 

                Students will be awarded 2.4 CEU after class completion

                Attendance requirements : At least 90% of lecture

 

               

Course Prerequisite :

 

                Introduction to Oracle SQL and PLSQL

 

Course Methodology :

 

                This course covers advanced features of Oracle SQL and PLSQL.  Lectures and extensive examples will be presented.  Hands-on-labs will be used to consolidate material covered.
