Information for Psy 216 studentsCourse description Social psychology is the study of how our behavior is affected by the real or imagined presence of others. I think that it's the most important field in psychology, because it is about our everyday interactions with the people around us. We will study topics including attitudes and persuasion, the self, obedience and conformity, stereotypes and prejudice, group processes, romantic relationships, and applications for mental health and the legal system. During the semester we will relate these topics to current events, including elections and the wars in the middle-East.
