Special Note: *****Very Important***** This course requires the use of a graphing calculator; the TI-83 or TI-84 “family” is preferred and especially recommended***** Our Text should be studied with such a calculator at your study space in order to be comfortable with its use. Some assistance with procedures will be given, but you should have the user’s manual handy for help.

“Generic” Writing Assignment for All Sections That We Shall Study:  

AFTER the class meeting dealing with the text sections on the schedule given below )Read the questions, Follow the directions given in the text (unless directed otherwise), and Answer the questions asked for the problems given by the pattern: 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53,(every other odd number), and so on, until there are no more problems to do for that section.
