Hi.
My name is Dino DelGallo, and I will be your instructor for the
upcoming class. I presently teach history at the Loudoun Campus, The U.S.Constitution (HIS 268)
through the Extended Learning Institute (ELI) and the Vietnam War at American University in Washington, DC.
I am a proud former NVCC student, having taken classes on campus and through ELI.
I earned my B.A. and M.A. while working full-time; so I know what it is like to meet multiple deadlines while
juggling work, family and friends.
During the semester, please feel free to use my voice mail (703.450.2506, # 37220) for any
questions or concerns you might have. E-mail (ddelgallo@nvcc.edu) works best for contacting me, and
you will need to send all of your assignments to me by e-mail.
There is no formal ELI orientation/first class meeting usually held
in the Annandale campus Cultural center) currently scheduled for any of
my ELI courses. If you wish extra credit for the Optional ELI
Orientation as explained in the course instructions, then I ask that
you please watch the general ELI orientation video available at a
campus LRC/Testing Center near you (or on the NVCC TV broadcast),
review the entire course and then e-mail me any questions that you
might have. (You can also check the online ELI orientation
website
at eli.nvcc.edu/orientation
and e-mail me any questions that you might
have.)
Please remember that it is your responsibility to keep copies of
your coursework and graded assignments. If you should run into any problems whatsoever at any time in the course,
please contact me so we can work things out.
