I. Course Description:
An in depth study of the fundamental religious texts of Hinduism, Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism.

III. Course Schedule:
A. First half of semester:
     Hinduism
     Confucianism
 B. Second half of semester
     Taoism
     Buddhism

IV. Requirements:
A. Exam—Hinduism
B. Exam—Confucianism and Taoism
C. Analytical Essay—Confucianism and/or Taoism, must be 5 to 8 pages typed, 12 pt font, double-spaced.
D. Exam—Buddhism
E. Attendance—Students must check after class with the professor if late.  Absence of 25% or more of total classes will result in no credit for the course.  No credit is given if the student leaves before a class is dismissed.
