Syllabus

I. Course Objective:

A study of the Latin language in order to become proficient in the reading of ancient and medieval Latin.
 

II. Course Textbook:

Wheelocks's Latin Grammar by F.M. Wheelock. Harper Collins
 

III. Course Calendar:

The Mid-term exam would normally fall on the eighth week of the semester, the Final on the last scheduled class session. The work load for a regular class session is normally one chapter and a half or two chapters.
 

IV. Grading:

The final grade of the student is determined by Mid-term and/or Final Examinations and weekly assignments from the text. Quizzes may be used as a determinant. Attendance is required.
