 Principles of Accounting II
 
 

Course Description:

 

Presents accounting principles and their application to various businesses. Covers income determination, asset valuation, and financial reporting. Studies services, merchandising, and manufacturing operation, including internal controls, analysis of financial statements, cost accounting systems, and managerial concepts.

 

General Course Purpose:

 

This course is designed to complete the objectives of Principles of Accounting I and to give successful students the basic ability to account for and manage the financial affairs of a small to medium-size business activity in a professionally acceptable manner. Instruction on use of microcomputers will be included.
