Overview

Conflict occurs with regularity when people work together in organizational settings. This chapter opens with a discussion of the nature of conflict. We then examine its most common forms and the things that cause it in the first place. We then discuss reactions to conflict and how it can be managed. We conclude with a discussion of a related organizational process, negotiation.
