CCNA Program FAQ

What is the Cisco Networking Academy?

It is a program designed to prepare students to pass the CCNA EXAM (Cisco Certified Network Associate Examination).

The Program is comprised of a 4-semester sequence of courses.  On the Woodbridge Campus they are offered so that a student can complete two semesters per college semester in two 8-week sessions:

First 8 Weeks               ITN 154 Internetworking I

First 8 Weeks               ITN 156 Internetworking III

Second 8 Weeks          ITN 155 Internetworking II

Second 8 Weeks          ITN 157 Internetworking IV

After completing all four courses, student will register at a Sylvan site to take the CCNA EXAM.

Who may enroll in the program?

Students who are knowledgeable about computers and their operation are eligible to enroll in the program.

The program is not designed for individuals who have already passed the CCNA EXAM.

At this time there is no advanced placement for students; they must take all four courses.
