        UNITED STATES HISTORY SINCE WORLD WAR II

The last fifty years of American history come alive in a new twenty-six part series that combines interviews, lectures from historic sites, film clips, still photos, and music.  For baby boomers, each thirty-minute program will bring back memories of Howdy Doody, Sputnik, beatniks, the Beatles, and more.  For younger viewers,the programs offer an opportunity to learn about McCarthyism, the struggle for civil rights, Vietnam, Watergate, and the revolutionary advances in
technology that put an American on the moon and brought the world to the brink of nuclear war.

Complementing the text, The Unfinished Journey, by William H. Chafe, the video series, America in Triumph and Turbulence, includes original interviews with
