PSY 201:  Introduction to Psychology I

Psychology 201 is the initial course in a two-semester coverage of Introductory Psychology. 

The  entire sequence of PSY 201 and PSY 202 provides students with a good foundation of knowledge in psychology, and is transferable to many universities. 

PSY 201 introduces the student to the scientific approach of psychology, biological bases of human behavior, sensory processes, perception, states of consciousness, human growth and development, motivation and emotion.
