GOL 135: Sedimentary sequence & structure of the Shenandoah Valley & Massanutten Mountain, VA

One-day field trip, Saturday, April 24, 2010. Raindate: Sunday, April 25, 2010. This field trip will examine the geology of the Shenandoah Valley and Massanutten Mountain, including sedimentary layers, fossils, and deformation related to Appalachian mountain-building. The trip involves moderately strenuous hiking on forest trails. Meet in the back of the CT building at 8:00 am; Return by 7:00 pm.
