Summary Writing Program

By using this program you will learn to write summaries of newspaper and magazine articles. The program wil teach you to do the following:

• Decide what kind of organizational plan an author uses
• Use the plan to decide what information to put in your summary
• Create a map or outline of the important ideas
• Use your map or outline to write a summary of the article
• Use your map or outline to learn the information for an examination
