This site will function as a guide to the Stone Carving Certificate
Program at the Northern Virginia Community College -
Manassas Campus.

The colors have been chosen to be most easily read as well as
resembling stone.

for the on state, and grey (#383838) for the inactive state.

was created in Photoshop by combining copies of the button blank to produce
a square, then "carving" circles and arcs out of the resulting "block"
of marble to tie into the stone carving theme. A circle was "carved"
from the right side of the sculpture and a picture of master carver Constantine
Seferlis was nested into the opening. All marble mastheads were created in Photoshop
by copying the gray marble image from the background and adding Times New Roman
text with an embossing filter.

Background Tiled Gray Marble Background Image, obtained from the web site of backgrounds
Buttons Antique Green Marble buttons obtained from the web and modified in Photoshop from rectangles to "carved" ovals. Their color is a blending of green, white and gray.
