The Personal Web Works site features navigation bars on every part of the screen--top, bottom, left side--where one could conceivably look.

His top button navigation bar and his bottom text navigation bar constitute main menu bars for the main sections of his site.

Within the site sections, the author has also provided submenus with links to the other pages in that subsection. Here, on the cover page of his Olympic Posters section, the author has put links to both the Summer Posters and Winter Posters pages on the left side of the screen.

This navigation style works because the navigation links themselves are either low resolution graphics or text links--very unobtrusive and quick-loading.
