Create a Bulleted List Change the Bullet Type

The easiest way to order information on a web page is to create a list.

Many web pages contain lists of links organized according to categories.

An unordered list uses a bullet to indicate the list item.

Create a Bulleted List

To quickly insert an unordered list in a document with Mozilla Composer, place your cursor at the point where you want your list to start. Then click on the Apply or remove bulleted list Bulleted List button on the Composition Toolbar.

Begin to type your list. After each item, hit the Enter key.

Each item in your list  will be preceded by a small bullet.

To stop generating the list, you can click on the button again or you can hit the Enter key twice to move your cursor back to your left margin.

You can also create your list, highlight it, then click on the Apply or remove bulleted list button.

Change the Bullet Type

To change the type of bullet used in an unordered list:

  • Place your cursor anywhere in the list.
  • Go to Format, Lists, List Properties on the main menu bar.
Format Lists

The List Properties dialog box will appear.

Click on the Bullet Style dropdown list and choose the type of bullet you want to use with your list.

Click on OK when you are finished.
