Save a Page

To save a file in Composer, simply click on the Save button button on the Composition Toolbar.

Or you can click on File, Save As on the main menu bar. 

If you haven't already titled your page, the Page Title dialog box appears.

As you can see from the above illustration, the title you enter will appear in the browser window title bar (the colored bar at the very top of the browser window) and in bookmarks and favorites lists.

When the Save As dialog box appears, navigate to the drive and directory where you want to save your file. 

Type in a filename. Composer automatically saves the file as an HTML document.

Preview a Page
To preview a file, first save the file. Then choose thePreview Tab tab on the bottom of the Composer window.
To view a file in the Navigator browser, click on the Browse button button on the Composition toolbar. The page will load in the Mozilla Navigator window.
To preview a file in another browser, first save the file. Then open the alternate browser and choose File Open (in Microsoft Internet Explorer) or File, Open File (in Firefox) from the browser's main dropdown menu. Navigate to your file location on your computer and choose the file to load into the browser.

If you are working on your file and want to check the file in the browser as you make changes, leave the browser open on your computer.

Every time you want to check the progress of your work, save your file, then maximize the browser screen and click on View, Refresh (or Reload) in order to see the most recent changes you have made to your file.
