There are several ways to add a headline to a page. First type your text. Highlight your text. |

| Method #1: Use the Larger Font Size |

| Method #2: Click on the Choose a Paragraph Format dropdown box on the Formatting Toolbar. Choose your headline size. | ![]() |
Method #3: Go to Format, Size on the Main Menu and choose your headline size.

| Add a Horizontal Line | |
| To add a horizontal line to your page, choose Insert, Horizontal Line from the Main Menu. | |
| To format your horizontal line, double click on it. The Horizontal Line Properties dialog box will appear. | |

Make desired changes to the Height, Width and Alignment of the line. Click on OK. If your horizontal line does not change, bring up the Horizontal Line Properties dialog box again by again clicking on the horizontal line. Make your changes to the formatting of the horizontal line. Then click Use as Default, then click OK. Use the Insert, Horizontal Line command from the Main Menu bar to insert another horizontal line. Delete the original horizontal line. |
