Though HTML is not case sensitive, you should use lower case letters to type your tags.  Lower case tags are compatible with other mark-up languages such as XHTML.

Though the browser will ignore paragraph and line breaks unless you create them with HTML tags, use your keyboard's Enter key to separate sections of your page and facilitate editing.

HINT: To more easily read what you are typing, activate Notepad's Word Wrap feature by selecting Format, Word Wrap from the main menu bar.

Save a Page When you are ready to save your page, choose File, Save As from the main menu.  The Save As dialog box will open.
