Create an Ordered List

Overview The easiest way to order information on a web page is to create a list.

An ordered list uses a numbering system to indicate each list item.

To quickly insert an ordered list in a document with  FrontPage 98, click on the Numbered List  button on the Format toolbar.

By default the Numbered List will use Arabic numerals.

To change the type of counter used in a numbered list, go to Format, Bullets and Numbering on the main menu bar. The Bullets and Numbering dialog box will appear.
Choose the Numbers tab to see the selections for numeric list symbols. Choose the desired symbol.  Set the Start At value if necessary.   Click on OK.

Note: You can click on  the Numbered List button when you want to start a list, then click the button off when you are done.

Or you can type a series of items, highlight the items, and apply the list button and style of your choice.
