Images: Add a Background Image to a Page

	You can put a patterned background on your page. The background is usually a rather small image file that has been constructed in such a way that when it tiles, or repeats across the page, it looks like a seamless wallpaper pattern.
	I prefer tiled backgrounds to background color because I think they provide depth of field that makes reading a monitor easier on the visitor's eyes. However, the background should be unobtrusive; it should have a light and subtle pattern. Choose text and link colors that provide sufficient contrast with the background pattern. Many free graphics sites on the Web provide a wide range of tiled background files.
	If you wish to insert a tiled background image on your page: Choose Format, Background on the Main Menu. The Page Properties dialog box will appear. Choose the Background tab.

	Choose Background Image. Click on Browse to navigate to the file you wish to use as your page background. Be sure to change the text and hyperlink colors if necessary to provide contrast.
