Change Text Color

Remember that when you change the color of your type, you must be sure you are providing a high contrast with the background of your page.
You can change the color of all of the type on a page or you can change the color of a selected section of type on a page.

You can also change the colors of your hyperlinks, active hyperlinks, and visited hyperlinks.

To change the color of all of the text on a page, choose Format, Background from the main menu.

The Page Properties dialog box will appear. It will be set to the Background tab.

From here you can use the drop-down menu boxes to change the default values of the page background, the text on the page, and both the hyperlinks and the visited and active hyperlinks.
Make your color selections from the dropdown boxes.

If you click on Custom, the Color dialog box will appear.

If you want to change the color of only a specific selection of text:

Remember that when you change text and background colors you must provide sufficient contrast between the text and background for your visitor to read the text on your site.  Also bear in mind that your visitor may want to print out your web site; if so, avoid light text on a dark background.
