Express
Create a Basic Table
| There are several ways to create a table with FrontPage Express. You can use the Insert Table button on the format menu. A dropdown grid will appear. |

| Move your cursor across the rows and columns until you've created your table. | ||
| You can also choose Table, Insert Table from the main
menu bar. The Insert Table dialog box will appear. |

| Here you can set the number of rows and columns in your table. You can also fill in the values in pixels for your desired table layout and set the width of the table in either pixels or a per cent of the monitor screen. |

| Once you have created a table, you can adjust its properties in several
ways. You can use the Table dropdown menu on the main menu bar. |

| From this menu you can not only insert the table as described above, but
also insert rows, columns, and/or cells. You can highlight table cells and either merge them or split them. You can select particular cells or sections of the table and call up the Cell Properties dialog box to change the attributes of the selected cells. |

| You can also change an existing table by right-clicking on the table and choosing Table Properties. The Table Properties dialog box appears. | ||

| Here you can adjust the layout and width of the table and add a background
image or colors. You can create a 3-D or beveled effect on your table borders by changing the colors of the borders in the Custom Colors section at the bottom of the dialog box. |
