Create a Web
| When you are ready to create a
web site, you should keep all of the files associated with that web
site in one folder.
As you create the individual pages of your web site, you will want to create a navigational scheme that uses relative hyperlinks to connect one page within your web site to another. Thus, before you create a web, you should create a folder on your local computer which will contain all of the material associated with your web site. |

To create a new folder:

to create a new web in Front Page 2000.

| You can, if you
wish, choose a template on which to base your web site. However,
you are more likely to prefer to build a web site from scratch.
To create a new blank web site, use the following procedure:
Example: a:\myweb

If you open your new web folder,
you will note that there are already some folders in your web:

| Open a Web | To open an existing web site,
You will be returned to Normal Page view where a new blank page will be displayed. |
