Customize FrontPage 2000

Like other Microsoft Office 2000 products, FrontPage 2000 features fully-customizable toolbars and dropdown menus.

If you can't find a command on a dropdown menu, click on the down arrow at the bottom of the menu to reveal more commands.

Once you use a command, it will begin to appear on the dropdown menu.

If you can't find a toolbar:
  • Choose View, Toolbars from the Menu bar. The toolbars that are already visible  on the workspace will be checked.
  • Click on any additional toolbars you want access to.
  • Click on a check marked toolbar to deselect it.

It is easy to customize a toolbar in FrontPage 2000:
  • Click on the down arrow on the far right edge of a toolbar.
  • Click on Add or Remove Buttons
  • Select and deselect icons as you wish.

You can further customize your screen by clicking on the Customize command at the very bottom of any Add or Remove Buttons dropdown menu.

The Customize dialog box will appear.

From the Toolbars tab you can:
  • Select and deselect toolbars
  • Create a new toolbar
  • Rename a toolbar
  • Delete a toolbar
  • Use the Reset button to return a toolbar to its default setting
From the Commands tab you can customize all of your toolbars and dropdown menus.

From the Options menu you can personalize your toolbars even further.

Remember that you can use the Reset button to restore any toolbar or dropdown menu to its default settings.
