Front
Page 2000:
Remove an Image Background
| Oftentimes an image you select from a web page or a clip
art file will have a white background.
When you place such an image on a web page that already uses a colored background, the white background detracts from the image. |

|
|
|
| To remove the background from the graphic, you will make
the color of the background transparent.
With a transparent background, the image will seem to float on top of the page background. |
||
| Front Page 2000 allows you to choose one color in an image
to make transparent.
To make the background of an image transparent, click on the image to select it. The Pictures toolbar will become visible on the bottom of your Page view. |
||
| Note: If you can't find the Pictures toolbar, select View, Toolbars, Pictures to activate the toolbar. | ||
| Just to the right of the middle of the toolbar is the
Set Transparent Color button.
Click on the button. Next, click somewhere on the background of the image. The background will disappear. |
