Set Image Properties

Insert an Image To insert an image in your web page using FrontPage 2000
  • Position your cursor at the location where you want to place your image.
  • Choose Insert, Picture on the Standard Toolbar.
  • Or click on the Insert Picture from file button on the Standard toolbar.
  • Navigate to the image location on your drive or diskette and choose your image.
  • Click on OK.

NOTE:   To navigate to a folder outside your web site, click on the Select a file on your computer button.

Set Image Properties When the image appears on your page, right click on the image and choose Picture Properties from the pop-up menu.

The Picture Properties dialog box will appear.  It will be pre-set to the General tab.

In the second section (Alternate Representations) type your alternate text in the Text box.
If you wish to further control your image, click on the Appearance tab.

Note that in  the Layout section, the default setting for the  Border Thickness is 0.

If you wish, use the dropdown menus to change the Alignment, Horizontal Spacing, and Vertical Spacing.

If you wish to change the default size of the image, click on Specify Size in the Size section and insert Width and Height values in pixels.

Click on OK to apply your changes to your image.
