Create a Scrolling Text Box
| The Text Block | A scrolling
text box allows the user to write a response in a larger
space.
Scrolling text boxes are useful for short answer responses. A scrolling text box can hold up to 32,700 characters. Scroll bars will appear in the text box if they are needed. |

| In the Name
text box, enter a name identifying the type of information being gathered
in the text block. In my example above the name might be why.
If you wish text to appear in the text block, enter that text in the Initial Value text block. Adjust the width of the text block and the number of lines that appear on the screen if you wish. Set the Tab order. The tab order is the order in which users of your form will move through the form by clicking on the Tab key. Click on OK. |
