Changing Color

To change the colors on your web page in FrontPage 2000:
  • Choose Format,  Background.
  • The Page Properties dialog box will appear. The Background tab will be pre-selected.

  • Choose your text, link, and background colors by clicking on the down arrow next to each color button and selecting a color from the dropdown menu.

The custom color section will already contain any colors that you have previously designated as custom colors as well as any other colors you have already put on a page.

If you are not satisfied with the basic web page color palette, click on the Custom Colors. . . bar.  The Color dialog box will appear.

Choose from a wider variety of basic colors or set the Red, Green, and Blue values by hand by typing in the hexadecimal equivalents in the color boxes on the lower right.
Click on Add to Custom Colors to add the color to your custom colors. 

Click on OK to apply the color to your page element.

If you click on More Colors on the pop-up menu, the More Colors dialog box appears

Click on the color you desire. Click on OK to apply the color to your page element.
To apply all of your changes, click OK on the Page Properties dialog box.
